We specialize in traditional Slavic hand-painted nesting dolls (Matryoshka) as well as hand-painted Wooden Hand painted Christmas trees in different sizes , a unique art form that I am proud to offer as the only artist in the United States creating these pieces using traditional painting techniques. Each piece begins with a carefully prepared wooden base that is sanded and primed before I sketch the design. My inspiration comes primarily from nature—especially flowers and organic patterns.
We use acrylic paints for their vibrancy and durability, layering colors to create depth and texture. The process is meticulous and often includes fine brushes and delicate gold leaf accents to highlight intricate details. Every piece is one of a kind, with designs ranging from delicate floral patterns to more contemporary and expressive interpretations.
Our artwork is more than decorative—it is a celebration of craftsmanship, Slavic folk traditions, nature’s beauty, and storytelling. Each piece reflects themes of life, heritage, and connection.
I have been an active artist for over 20 years, with my work featured in local craft and art shows, winter festivals, and holiday markets for more than 15 years. I am very happy to be a part of this exhibition of traditional folk art, created by hand, and to present it to a wide and appreciative audience.
